A SPECIAL NORTH COUNTRY ATMOSPHERE
Because we believe that the
quality of life is as important as the quality of care, we have created an
atmosphere that's both comfortable and stimulating - with a distinctive North
Country touch.
Southridge Rehabilitation and
Living Center has tastefully appointed, impeccably maintained bedrooms and
common areas. An attractive living room enhances quiet visits with family and
friends. The setting is peaceful, with a beautiful tree-lined lawn for outside
gatherings.
Meals are nutritious and
appealing. Our menus are carefully developed by a registered dietitian, food
service supervisor, and the patients themselves.
ENJOYING LIFE
Southridge offers many opportunities for
social relationships. Our stimulating, well-rounded activities program is
complimented by an activity director and two on-staff recreation therapists.
Activities range from current events discussion groups and exercise classes to
barbecues and films. We hold frequent outings in our wheelchair-accessible van
for lunch, shopping, and special events.
We enjoy a strong link with the local community. Southridge welcomes the public
to participate in facility programs such as holiday celebrations.
Weekly religious services provide an
opportunity for patients to fulfill their spiritual needs.
Southridge also offers optional amenities such
as private phone lines, cable television, and in-house hair stylist services.
