Somerset Rehabilitation and Living Center offers a full range of health services from post-acute, transitional care between hospital and home, to long-term nursing care. We also provide respite care and hospice services. Our programs are individualized, physician-directed, and goal-oriented, enabling our patients to achieve their highest levels of independence.

A SPECIAL NORTH COUNTRY ATMOSPHERE

Because we believe that the quality of life is as important as the quality of care, we have created an atmosphere that's both comfortable and stimulating - with a distinctive North Country touch.

Small and cozy, Somerset Rehabilitation and Living Center has a convenient one-story floor plan. Our bedrooms and common areas are tastefully appointed and impeccably maintained. The in-town location is accessible, yet peaceful, with beautiful grounds and an enclosed area for picnics and gatherings.

Meals are nutritious and appealing. Our menus are carefully developed by a registered dietitian, food service supervisor, and the patients themselves.

ENJOYING LIFE

Somerset Rehabilitation and Living Center offers many opportunities for social relationships. Our stimulating, well-rounded activities program ranges from current events discussion groups and exercise classes to barbecues, films and regular visits from Arcady Music. We hold frequent outings in our wheelchair-accessible van for lunch, shopping, and special events.

We enjoy a strong link with the local community. Somerset welcomes the public to participate in facility programs such as Family Night, painting classes, a Halloween Haunted House and walk-in blood pressure screenings.

We provide Meals on Wheels to area senior citizens, and open our function rooms for various community meetings. In addition, our staff is very involved in community activities.

Weekly religious services provide an opportunity for patients to fulfill their spiritual needs.

Somerset Rehabilitation and Living Center also offers optional amenities such as private phone lines, cable television, and in-house hair stylist services.
