Located in Downeast Maine on the shores of Narraguagus Bay in Milbridge, our health care facility offers a full range of services from skilled nursing and, transitional care between hospital and home, to rehabilitation services, long term nursing and residential care. Our programs are individualized, physician directed, and goal oriented, enabling our patients and residents to achieve their highest levels of independence.

Our facility is conveniently located in downtown Milbridge with an attractive two-story complex designed to provide two distinct levels of care in a coordinated continuum. Individuals who reside in our residential care setting on the first floor can rest assured that more complex services can be available upstairs without leaving friends and familiar care givers behind.

Narraguagus offers many opportunities for social relationships. Our stimulating and well rounded activities program ranges from an annual lobster dinner donated by local fisherman to weekly summer cookouts, outings, cooking classes, movies at the theater, musical entertainment and a lobster stew supper on Christmas Eve. We enjoy a strong link to the local community.

Meals are nutritious and appealing. Our menus are carefully developed by a registered dietitian, food service supervisor and the residents and patients themselves.

Narraguagus also offers optional amenities such as private phone lines, cable television and in house hair stylist services.

From Ellsworth: Follow Scenic Route 1 North to Milbridge. Once in Milbridge, follow Route 1 to the center of town, Narraguagus Bay Health Care Facility will be on the left hand side of the road, a short distance from the water, at 3 Main Street.

From Machias: Follow Route 1 South to Milbridge. Once in Milbridge, follow Route 1 to the center of town, Narraguagus Bay Health Care Facility will be on the right hand side of the road, a short distance from the water, at 3 Main Street.
